An urgent message from Norma!

I seek from all supporters of the PPHA Fund.  The following books are now for sale from me:-

       1.   London Police: Their Stories 80 years at the Sharp end

       2.   London Police:  Then and Now

       3.   Against All odds

       4.   From the Mines to the Met

The two London Police books were compiled by me, with short stories donated by many retired officers.   It was difficult to select which should be published, I hope you will agree that they make entertaining reading.

Against all Odds was written by the late Jim Beard, again to help raise funds for the PPHA.

From the Mines to the Met is a heart-warming account of one man, who started in the mines in Wales and became a well-known senior CID officer working on many cases that you will recognise.   The feedback from those who have read the books recently is that once they had started reading, they could not put them down.

As long as the stocks last the books are now £10 for the 4 books and include the postage which I know to be £4.41. If it goes well and there are no longer the four books available prices will be reduced accordingly to 3 books for £8, 2 books for £6 and 1 book for £3 - all will include the posting. I have to move these books and would appreciate your help, they are a good read and this offer is little short of a gift at these prices.

When you order please remember to supply your name and address; you can order by email on ndmbrown@hotmail.co.uk, by telephone on 0208 856 3005 or by post to 19 Falconwood Avenue, Welling, DA16 2SH

Please enclose a cheque payable to “PPHA” if ordering by post. Orders by telephone and/or email will be accompanied with an addressed return envelope for you to send me your cheque.
